While June is a good three months away, now is the time to start training for the 3rd Annual Race to the Taste 5K on Saturday, June 11. Grab your friends, family and co-workers and join our Dentistry of the Carolinas Team when we take to the streets of Uptown Charlotte for this fun and tasty event that starts/ends at the Taste of Charlotte festival. For those interested in a shorter distance, there’s also the 1 Mile Cupcake Run/Walk where you can grab and enjoy cupcakes along the route.
ALL Runners of the 5K (who register by May 23) will receive a premium race shirt, an awesome swag bag with fun gifts, cold beer after the run and a Taste of Charlotte Super Coin to purchase any food item at the festival. Cupcake Run/Walk participants will receive a T-shirt and cupcakes. This race will benefit the Checkers Charitable Foundation.
As part of our involvement in this event, we are proud to partner with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Moms In Training Program – a social, flexible 10-week fitness program that culminates with the 
Race to the Taste 5K. Charlotte will kick off its inaugural Moms In Training program on Saturday, April 2 with training runs throughout the region. Sign up today and join our Chief Operating Officer Tyler Hammock – a Moms In Training participant.
