Gastonia & Monroe, NC – Dentistry of the Carolinas is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Nanci De Felippe to their orthodontic practice.
De Felippe brings a unique background to DOC. She obtained her Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She earned a Master of Science in Oral Sciences as well as a certificate in craniofacial orthodontics at the same institution.
De Felippe taught at the University of Chicago, was the Chief Orthodontist at the University of Illinois Craniofacial Center, was hired as full-time faculty at the University of Minnesota, won “Best Professor of the Year” and is a published author.
Relocating to North Carolina due to her husband’s employer, De Felippe is eager to once again work on beautifying and correcting the smiles of both children and adults. Says De Felippe, “My passion is aligning teeth and enhancing facial harmony for the best possible functional and esthetic results of my patients.”
A native of Brazil, De Felippe speaks both Spanish and Portuguese. She will be coordinating orthodontic care with all general dentists and is treating patients at two Dentistry of the Carolinas offices: Gastonia, 2641 Court Drive; and Monroe, 2258 W.
