It’s Bubble Gum Day
In honor of Bubble Gum Day today, here are some gum facts from the American Dental Association to chew on for good oral health care.
Chewing sugarless gum:
- Can protect and strengthen teeth
- Increases saliva which helps remove food and reduce levels of acid in your mouth
- Helps prevent tooth decay
- Helps minimize bad breath
Look for sugarless gum that has the ADA Seal. Just a reminder that chewing gum does not replace brushing and flossing. It’s important to continue brushing twice daily and flossing once a day for a healthy smile.
