February is National Children’s Dental Health Month and Dentistry of the Carolinas and the American Dental Association encourage all parents, teachers and kids to join in the fight for good oral health.
Dentistry of the Carolinas dentists and hygienists across a six-county area visit their local schools in February to provide fun oral health presentations and tooth-brushing supplies to children.
As part of this special month, Dentistry of the Carolinas wants to remind all parents that in addition to encouraging your children to brush their teeth after snacks and meals, healthy food choices can also make a difference in helping prevent tooth decay. Check out this healthy foods list from Colgate, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research.
